TLDR;

I thought I was just buying some casual weekend mushroom chocolates, in retrospect I completely under estimated these chocolates.

Alfred’s chocolates didn’t just taste incredible—they rewired time and space. I live in TX and by the time they arrived they had melted a bit which threw the idea of understanding dosages out the window. I've tried roadtrip and other chocolates before and they were mild at 4 pieces so I took what I thought was a decent bite (pro tip: if you attempt this dose make sure to have your environment strategically set up with lots of water and good music and good people around you because you're going to embark on a quest to the depths of your soul).

It genuinely started off very subtle, mild mushroom "sea-sickness" what followed was a.... journey into the soul and the eternal...

My wife and I were outside doing yard work and it started to kick in so I decide to lay down on the patio furniture and brace for the ride. While I was listening to music I decided to call my brother. what transpired was a deep and meaningful conversation about our relationship and how life "happened". Life isn't just a single event it's a chain reaction over YEARS, DECADES and these chocolates allowed me to see the domino's, acknowledge where I had fallen short and really explained how we're all just trying to make the best of what ever situation we're in while everyone around us is doing the same. Imagine "It's a Wonderful Life" and "A Christmas Carol" where you're able to take inventory of your life and reach through the vail of time and make amends.

Over the course of 3 hours, I was able to:

- Address decades-old family relationships
- Express deep, unconditional love
- Speak truth without fear, ego, pride or judgement
- Time travel - no, seriously
- And somehow still come back to have a beautiful heart-to-heart with my wife

This was It’s a Wonderful Life meets A Christmas Carol with extremity tingles, time dilation and a splash of visuals. Make sure to focus on your breathing, as you cascade down the rabbit hole remember to come back to your body and ground yourself before diving back in, deep breaths kiddos..... In with the good, out with the bad, and repeat....

I didn’t even finish the bar, I maybe had a 3rd.

Thank you, Alfred, for crafting something truly magical. This isn’t just chocolate. It’s soul food in the most literal sense.
